With over 35 years of experience in guiding business owners through the maze of acquiring capital, Brenda Wetherbe is an expert at helping emerging businesses. She has propelled American Prudential Capital, Inc., from its inception into the top ranks of Houston’s specialized finance industry. Brenda’s goal is to provide the cash flow clients need, at the time they need it. “We are a piece of the pipeline that a good business will flow through on the way to its destination.” To ensure swift action on applications and daily account management, she has assembled a team of seasoned finance professionals who understand the small business market.
Eric Standlee has helped to migrate the “Me-Only” network marketing paradigm into Servant Leadership. Host of internet “radio” programs, and founder of the prototype social networking group “InHouston,” Eric connects companies and banks with alternative funding sources for acquisitions and growth. Eric also trains, coaches, and integrates brokers from all over the country into the APC funding network.
Gloria Rodriguez contributes 25 years of finance experience and strong management expertise to the operations of APC. Gloria knows that improving business administrative procedures can reduce the average collection time for our clients, resulting in real savings. Under Gloria’s leadership, the Operations department responds quickly to funding requests and provides our clients accurate and timely reporting.
Barbara Dyar, Chief Credit Officer
With a Master’s Degree and finance experience with APC since 1991, Barbara Dyar brings her knowledge of industry practices and experience in credit analysis to provide critical information to American Prudential’s clients. Barbara helps applicants by preparing their files for the Credit Committee’s review and, upon approval, moves them from contract execution through the factoring process to funding as seamlessly as possible.
Liz Almaguer, Accountant
A graduate of St. Thomas University with a BA in Accounting, Liz has been American Prudential Capital’s head of accounting since 1998. As the supervisor of all accounting and audit functions, Liz interfaces with bankers, auditors, participating funding partners, and service providers to ensure flawless accuracy in the handling of all funds.
